Vantage: Reason Code Management

Reason codes now have a built-in management experience from within Vantage. Create and edit reason code hierarchies directly from the Vantage Room, assign a hierarchy to the whole Room or to specific conditions, and import an existing hierarchy from a CSV or JSON file. Each assigned hierarchy gets its own button in the Context Pane, and its levels appear as columns in the Evidence Table.

Rooms that set up reason codes through the Data Lab script are migrated automatically: hierarchies are created from the existing trees, and all applied reason codes and history are preserved. The Data Lab script is no longer needed.

Vantage: Run Logs and Re-runs in the Status Tab

The Status tab shows logs of recent condition search and capsule search runs, along with upcoming scheduled runs. It also lists monitored conditions, which you can re-run manually—individually or all at once. Note: the Vantage Room manual capsule search re-run has moved from the Conditions tab to the Status tab, where you can now run it for specific conditions as well.

Vantage: Condition Search Preview

Vantage setup now offers an optional additional step to preview the Condition Search results before scheduling the monitoring job. The preview includes the count and a subset of 100 conditions per search.

Customize color and icon of Custom Agents

Do you want to differentiate between custom agent more easily? Now you can configure the color and icon of the box next to a custom agent. This can be updated next to the title of any custom agent when making modifications, or from the menu on a custom agent you have write access to on the Agent Builder landing page.

Tree Builder is now Generally Available for Enterprise Customers!

Tree Builder helps teams improve data discovery and scalability of calculations by enabling users to create, manage, and leverage trees in Seeq with a no-code experience.

With Tree Builder, you can:

• Build multi-level trees from signals, scalars, and conditions

• Add criticial metadata like asset name, location, equipment type, manufacturer, and friendly names as a few examples through rules, CSV import, or manual entry

• Organize data with flexible, rule-based logic that accommodates differences in naming and structure

• Share new trees across your team or organization, including global tables when appropriate

• Streamline data discovery in Workbench and use those same trees in Scaling Tables to scale analytics

• Keep your structure current by automatically including new items with scheduled searching

Scaling Table Filters

Columns in a Scaling Table can now be filtered to easily find relevant rows.

Auto-disabling Condition Monitors and Item Finders with no consumers

Item Finders that have no Condition Monitor and no active (unarchived) subscribed table are disabled, so are Condition Monitor with no active table subscription, no notification configuration, and no webhook. In both cases, an email is sent to the owner of the job to inform them.

Auto-disabling Unused Condition Monitors and Item Finders

Vantage Rooms that are not visited for a long time will have their Condition Monitor and Item Finder disabled. This will be a similar process to disabling unused scheduled Organizer Topic reports. An email will be sent to the owner of the Vantage Room with a link to the Room, and they can manually re-enable monitoring if desired. The cut-off age is the same configuration value that admins can set, Features/AutomaticDisableSchedule/DisableAge, that has a default of 90 days. OData, SPy, and API queries of the Vantage table are considered valid Vantage reads and would reset the age clock. Existing Vantage tables will get a “last viewed” date on the day the customer receives this release, starting the age clock on that date. As a result, The currently unused Vantage Rooms will get disabled DisableAge (typically 90) days after receiving the release.

Scheduled Custom Agents

Custom Agents in Agent Builder can run autonomously to update and deliver reports, add context to events in Vantage, or execute any workflow you design. Use the Schedule start trigger to configure automated custom agents. Read more at Start Node .

Custom Agents can engage users for input

A Question Node is available in Core nodes in Agent Builder so that interactive workflows that benefit from direct user feedback can specify how that is gathered and what is done with that information. Use this to clarify which or how much data is used for the interaction with the custom agent, select between various summary options, or collect information to store for later review. See Question Node for more information.

Monitoring a Scaling Table in Vantage

You may select the “Monitor in Vantage” button next to Scaling Table settings buttons:

This will open a modal where you will be able to select the condition columns to monitor, and the property columns to add to a new or existing Vantage Room. Clicking Monitor opens Vantage where you can modify and run your desired monitoring job.

Configure a pip Package Cooldown Period

Administrators can now configure a cooldown period for newly published Python package versions in Data Lab. When enabled, `pip` prevents installation of package versions until they have been publicly available for the configured number of days, helping reduce exposure to package supply-chain attacks. Simple Table Treemap supports more statistics & customization

Users can now create a Treemap from a Simple Table in Tables & Charts for analysis across an Asset Tree or Scaling Table. This workflow supports more statistics in the Treemap and gives more customization options, including color changes from the Details Pane.

To access in Workbench, create a Simple Table, add the statistics as columns, use Scale to include the Asset Tree or Scaling Table, then select Treemap from the top toolbar. If grouping has not already been created, Seeq will prompt to enable it automatically.

Custom Agents can reference other Custom Agents

As you start orchestrating workflows with Custom Agents in Agent Builder, you may find some repeated workflows you want multiple agents to use. Now you can use the Run Agent node to access any other Custom Agents to use as part of another workflow. See https://seeq.atlassian.net/wiki/x/ZoAqNwE for more information.

Customize Condition Table chart colors

Users can now customize condition chart series colors directly from the toolbar, with real-time chart updates reflecting the color changes.

To access: in Workbench, go to Table & Charts → Condition → Columns dropdown → add some statistics to the table → Chart View button → Colors button. See Tables & Charts | Charts for chart customizations.

Improved responses from AI Assistant

All the AI Assistant agents have been updated with more recent models that improve the quality of the responses and reveal the thought process and progress along the way. They can ask clarifying questions as necessary with multiple choice inputs to more easily provide information required. All formulas written will be validated before providing the result, so you will no longer see recommendations to Seeq Formula functions that do not exist.

Enrich Vantage events with Agent Q

Agent Builder’s Add Vantage Context step now allows custom agents to add comments, numeric values, and labels to Vantage events. When a Vantage room is linked directly, available context types are automatically discovered. For more information, see https://seeq.atlassian.net/wiki/x/KoAdFwE.

Presentation Mode with Navigation

You can now share Organizer Topics and Workbench Analyses in a new way.

Clicking the “Presentation Mode with Navigation” link opens the sheet in a presentation view with a navigable sidebar, making it easy to move through the content and switch between different sheets without additional setup.

Date Format Preference

Users can now choose how numeric dates are displayed in Seeq from User Preferences. Select Browser default, MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY, YYYY-MM-DD, or DD.MM.YYYY without changing browser or operating system language settings. The existing 24h format setting continues to control time of day. For more information, see User Profile and Preferences.

Scaling Table Manual Data Entry Improvements

Users that need to manually modify data in Scaling Tables or Tree Builder can now do so with
spreadsheet-like functionality across multiple cells instead of individually changing one cell at a time.

• Copying values from external sources or within the table will paste into the table and apply the
  value(s) as overrides.​

• Selecting multiple cells and starting to type will apply the entered value across all selected cells.​

• Drag and fill functionality is supported to apply one value to multiple cells.​

• Delete manually entered overrides from multiple cells at once, via delete key or right-clicking
  selected cells.

Home Screen Update

With this update, you can get started quickly, surface relevant content more easily, and navigate your work with greater speed and flexibility.

• Find helpful resources through the new Training section on Home.

• Search faster with improved performance and recommended results.

• Narrow results with quick filters above the search bar.

• Limit searches to My Folder, Shared, Corporate, or a particular subfolder.

Scaling Table Navigation

When navigating a scaling table in the Data Pane you can now enable a tree view, by toggling “Expand”. This allows you to browse the rows of the Scaling Table with the same hierarchical view that was used to populate it.

Data Lab Disk Cleanup

Data Lab Management now allows users to perform operations to reclaim disk space in Data Lab. The Disk Cleanup tab shows recommended cleanup actions listed by project and include emptying a trash folder, deleting packages from unsupported Python versions, or permanently deleting archived project data.

Organizer Topics can now be locked and versioned

Protect topics from further edits and preserve validated, trusted content with locking and versioning. In a locked Topic, users can still explore with temporary date range and asset selection changes that are not saved.

Markdown Tile Support for Impact Reports

You can now add Markdown Editor tiles to your Impact Report Dashboard!
Similar to adding chart tiles simply click “Edit” → “Add Content” → “Markdown Editor”. This enables you to provide additional context or images as part of your Impact Report Dashboard.

Multiple Outputs for Machine Learning Tools

Machine Learning tools now support generating multiple outputs from a single execution.

Previously, tools such as Self-Organizing Maps (SOM), Isolation Forest, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Clustering, and Partial Least Squares (PLS) were limited to producing a single output at a time. Generating additional outputs required separate tool executions.

With this enhancement, you can select and generate multiple supported outputs in a single run. Depending on the selected tool, outputs such as monitoring signals, anomaly indicators, model statistics, training metadata, cluster assignments, and prediction results can now be generated together.

The new Outputs section displays all outputs available for the current tool configuration. Default outputs are preselected, and additional supported outputs can be enabled as needed.

Sustain the Gains with Seeq

Seeq introduces built-in statistics to support you in keeping the gains from you improvement projects alive, connected, and actionable. 

With this update, you can: 

• Find Statistics Summaries in Tools under Statistics. 

• Create Statistic Summaries in a single execution.  

• Generate a Histogram, Box Plot, SPC Chart, and summary statistics for a defined sample set. 

• Compare Statistic Summaries to test for equal mean and variance. 

• Assess improvements faster and with greater confidence. 

This is the first step in bringing statistics closer to day-to-day improvement work in Seeq. Seeq will extend these capabilities with the ability to operationalize outputs from a Statistic Summary, including SPC charts, Western Electric rules, event-driven process capability calculations, and comparison tests.

Review Stage for Impact Reports

Impact Reports now provide an additional stage called “Review”. Only users who are Analytics Administrators can assign this stage to reports. Additional review comments may be provided.
The Impact Report dashboard now also supports filtering to only display reviewed reports.

Custom Agent Notifications

The Send to Notification node in Agent Builder allows users to send emails as part of custom agent workflows. This is a way to provide updates as part of agentic investigations or send AI generated reports to recipients.

Context on time range selected on Quicktrend

You can now drag-select a time range on Quicktrend, apply context bound to that time range on the conditions or assets shown on Quicktrend, and adjust the time range further before or after submitting the context.

Caching Update for Performance

Seeq will always cache data for signals and conditions to improve performance and simplify configuration. The Cache Enabled toggle on datasources and individual items has been removed; existing items will behave as if caching is turned on.
You are still able to refresh cached data if source values change. Use Clear Cached Values in Workbench Item Properties (in the Advanced dropdown) for individual items, and the Clear Cache button in Administration → Datasources to clear cached data for an entire datasource. Additional Organizer Dashboard Configuration

There is a new option in the Organizer Dashboard toolbar to Allow Overlap. Overlap is on by default so you can have ultimate control of where content is placed, but you can disable it if you want to easily drag content around to reorder.

24-hour Time Format

Now users who prefer 24-hour formatting for time of day can make this selection from their User Preferences so that times will appear as 0:00 to 23:59 instead of 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. Read more at User Preferences.

OData export can now include free text user-defined context

Free-text (categorical comment) user-defined context entered in Vantage can now be included in OData export.

Search and Filter Custom Agents

Seeq Intelligence customers can more easily discover and navigate custom agents. The Agent Builder page now has a search field and several filters to quickly get access to custom agents you have created or those that have been shared with you. Read more at Seeq Agent Builder.

Security Synchronization with Omnia Plant Connector​

Omnia Plant connector can now synchronize group level access controls into Seeq automatically​. When matching groups have been provisioned in Seeq, users will only be able to access Omnia Plant signals based on their group membership​. Synchronization will occur automatically during indexing once enabled​. This reduces the burden on administrators as they no longer need to manually configure access​.

Shared Connection Pool for SQLv2 Connector

The SQLv2 connector now allows to have shared connection pool for cases where multiple connections are made to the same database.

The shared pool is optional, and can be opted in with the EnablePoolSharing parameter. There is a mechanism to sync the configuration parameters in the whole pool (PropagateToPool) and the full configuration of the HickaryPool (overwrite  MaximumPoolSize,  ConnectionTimeoutMs,  IdleTimeoutMs)​ is allowed.

Share Custom Agents created in Agent Builder

Seeq Intelligence customers can share custom agents they create in Agent Builder with other users, just like any other items in Seeq. This allows a small set of users to enable their wider organization with custom agents.

Add Full Path to Condition Tables

Condition Tables now support full path so you can more easily distinguish between assets when viewing a table across multiple layers in an asset tree.

Data Lab OS upgrade to Debian 13 (Trixie)

The base operating system in Data Lab has been upgraded from Debian 12 (Bookworm) to Debian 13 (Trixie).

This upgrade includes newer system libraries and security updates, most notably an update to the GNU C Library (glibc) used by many compiled Python packages.

Impact on User-Installed Python Packages

Most Python packages installed by users—including those with compiled native extensions (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, pandas, scikit-learn)—should continue to work without changes. The newer glibc version in Trixie maintains backward compatibility with binaries built on Bookworm.

However, in rare cases a package compiled against older system libraries may fail to load or run.

Recommended Action

If you encounter import errors or runtime issues with a previously installed package, reinstall the package to rebuild it against the updated system libraries:

pip install --force-reinstall <package>

If the package depends on other compiled libraries, you may wish to reinstall those as well.

ADX connector now supports reading conditions

The ADX connector can now read capsule data with custom properties from ADX tables. The conditions read from ADX can be organized in an asset tree along side process signals. This combination makes the ADX connector a powerful enabler to analyze batch processes.

Scaling Tables streamline the creation and management of thousands of calculations with:

• A no-code user interface to configure and manage analytics

• Flexible, rule-based logic to accommodate asset differences​

• Rapid bulk updates to continuously improve your analytics

Modify Subject and Body of Scheduled Organizer Emails

You can modify the subject and body when sending Organizer Topics to recipients as PDFs on a schedule. This can help you add more context than the Organizer Topic name.

Ignition Module support for Ignition v8.3

We have added support for Ignition 8.3. The Seeq Ignition Module for version 8.3 has been modernized with an improved settings UI and real-time connection status monitoring.

Key improvements include:

• New Web UI: Modern React-based settings interface

• Connection Status: Real-time monitoring and display of Seeq server connectivity with detailed error reporting

• Component Cleanup: Deprecated and removed SeeqVisualizationComponent. LaunchSeeqComponent is now fully functional under 8.3.

• Enhanced Developer Experience: Improved build scripts with support for running/debugging Designer and Client independently
