Overview
Vantage notifications send an email when new (or changed) events appear in a Vantage Room.
Prerequisites

Write access to the Vantage Room. Notifications are visible to everyone who can write to the Room.

Vantage licensed and enabled, and email notifications configured on the Seeq server.
Creating a Notification
To create a vantage notification, click the bell icon above the table. A notification can either be tied to the current view (in which case all future view filter changes will automatically be reflected in the notification), or just to the current set of filters.
Once one of the options is selected, a modal will appear where the notification can be defined by giving it a name as well as recipients list. There are a few fields that are unique to vantage notifications…
Notify on : Choose whether to be notified on New events or also on changed events.
Filter : When new events are received in Vantage, a Filter is applied to them to determine which ones should be notified on. The filter cannot be adjusted within the modal, rather it is adjusted by filtering the Vantage Table itself. In the below example, the filter has been set such that only capsules which are not suppressed will be notified on.
Columns : These are columns of the vantage table which you want to be included in the sent out email.
Managing Notifications
To view the notifications associated with a vantage room, click the notifications tab. From there a notification can be enabled/disabled, and edited.
To view notifications for all vantage rooms, click your user profile and navigate to notifications management. There you’ll see a list of all vantage notifications, and can navigate to the vantage rooms where they were created.
