In Seeq, an Item is a top-level object in Seeq that users can create, modify, view, delete, share, and authorize. By default, all items are scoped in some way, and inherit permissions based on their location.

You will notice in the list above that some items are nested. For example, a Signal can be a CalculatedSignal (defined by a formula in Seeq and saved in the Seeq Calculations Datasource) or a StoredSignal (hosted by datasource that is remote or local).
