In-Product Release Notes
This feature is currently behind a feature flag. To enable it the Features/ReleaseNotes/Enabled configuration flag must be toggled to true by a Seeq administrator.
Release notes enable any Seeq user to determine what has changed after an upgrade during a maintenance window. They can be accessed from within Seeq by clicking on the hamburger menu icon in the top right corner and clicking the Release Notes link. A modal window will open that shows the new features and bugfixes that have been included in the Current, Past, and Upcoming releases.
The Current tab will show any bugfixes or features that were added in the version of Seeq that is currently running.
The Past tab will show all bugfixes and features that have been installed in the past 6 months. This tab may not be visible on new installs that do not yet have a history of past releases.
The Upcoming tab will show any bugfixes and features that are planned to be installed during the next maintenance window. It will also show the time of the next maintenance window and what version will be installed. Note that the information on this tab is subject to change as the maintenance window draws closer. This tab will not be shown for tenants that are not on a Continuous Delivery cadence.
For all tabs the Installed On and Version columns can be enabled by clicking the three-dot menu in one of the header cells and clicking Choose Columns. These columns will show the exact date and version number for each bugfix or feature.
